“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” — Dr. Seuss, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”

Homework

This is a work in progress, all information is from 2007/2008 and will likely change for 2008/2009. Thanks, Mrs. Walling.

All homework will be due on Wednesday. All homework will remain fairly consistent throughout the year, but you can expect some minor changes as we progress through the year. Students are expected to:

  1. read daily and record it on their reading log
  2. work on their multiplication facts, and then division facts at home
  3. write in their writer’s journal as required.

You can find many multiplication games on the Woodside website, which students have used. www.MSAD75.org, curriculum links ~ math ~ 4th grade. Or, any flash cards and other math games are great too. In addition, any time you are using any form of measurement around your home, (building, cooking, sewing, etc.) , please include your child!

A paper copy of the, Weekly Questions will be given to each student, and can also be found on this blog under, “Question of the Week.”

Reading logs can be accessed using this link, students can pick up a hard copy in the classroom.

Thank you for all you do for your children.

Mrs. Walling
